Skills and Thinking Development Programs
– STEAM Program:
As a modern educational approach, STEAM equips students with knowledge and skills across five disciplines: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Students apply what they have learned to solve real-life problems through STEAM activities. BMS students develop essential competencies such as creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication skills.
– Leadership Development Program (The Leader in Me):
This program helps students build essential skills to respond effectively to social changes, take ownership of their learning, and act proactively. The ultimate goal of The Leader in Me is students’ holistic development.
– Financial Literacy and Young Entrepreneurship Program (Junior Achievement):
This program focuses on financial management, career orientation, and entrepreneurship. Junior Achievement equips students with personal financial management knowledge and practical skills applicable to daily life. In addition, students develop teamwork and planning skills. The program also helps students evaluate their abilities, interests, and values, enabling them to make thoughtful financial decisions.
Experiential Learning Programs
Student activities are diverse in type, content, and organization, supporting the development of essential competencies and personal qualities, and enhancing students’ adaptability to societal changes. At BMS Hung Yen Primary School, special emphasis is placed on experiential activities that expand real-world knowledge, strengthen self-leadership, and develop life skills. By the end of Primary School, students are equipped with five essential life skills: self-care skills, health care skills, fire escape skills, drowning prevention skills, and personal safety skills.
After-school Program:
Beyond regular school hours, students can register for After-school Clubs to develop talents or pursue personal interests and passions such as science, English, skills development, sports, and arts.
Summer Camp Program:
The Summer Camp program is specially designed for different age groups and offers students unique opportunities to explore themselves and the world around them—experiences that may not be available during the regular academic year. The Summer Camp is held annually during the summer.
