Mathematics and Technology Program

1. Mathematics: Vietnamese Mathematics Curriculum: BMS Hung Yen Secondary School students study the basic mathematics curriculum of the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) and the enhanced mathematics program of BMS Hung Yen for students with outstanding mathematical thinking abilities.

2. IC3 International Computer Science Program

Students at BMS Hung Yen are taught according to Microsoft's international standard computer science program and receive internationally recognized certificates.

Language and Social Sciences

Literature: BMS Hung Yen implements a combination of the Ministry of Education and Training's Literature Program with enhanced, advanced, and supplementary teaching content, as well as literary and reading culture projects. BMS Hung Yen Secondary School students are guaranteed to have language and literary competence according to common assessment standards. The enhanced Literature program is for students with outstanding literary abilities.

English and International Programs

Standard System (System A): This English program follows the European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), helping students master fundamental knowledge and focusing on developing all four skills. The program aims for an A1 CEFR level of proficiency.

History, geography

The curriculum is structured into projects, allowing students to independently plan and implement their research with the support of teachers and parents. Through project work, students develop essential skills for 21st-century citizens, such as collaboration, critical thinking, creative thinking, and communication skills.

Art

Secondary school students at BMS Hung Yen continue to study all subjects: Fine Arts (painting, sculpture, design, appreciation), Music (vocal music, instrumental music, appreciation, and dance), according to the curriculum prescribed by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training and the enhanced program of BMS. The enhanced program is organized in the form of clubs to focus on developing specific competencies for students.

Exercise and physical fitness

BMS Hung Yen Secondary School implements the Physical Education program of the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training and is enhanced with some specialized sports such as: football, badminton, and swimming.

Skills and Career Guidance

- BMS Skills Program in Hung Yen: Helps students develop skills to meet the challenges of social change, master knowledge and action, and cultivate habits to become successful individuals in the future.

- The Junior Achievement program, focusing on financial literacy and entrepreneurship, is a training program in financial management, career guidance, and entrepreneurship. The JA program equips students with knowledge on how to define personal financial goals, cultivate and build the essential foundation of a successful entrepreneur, discover their strengths, find suitable jobs, and develop their careers. The program helps students assess their abilities, interests, and values, make informed financial decisions, and plan their future careers.

Natural Sciences

Students at BMS Hung Yen Secondary School have the opportunity to experience and conduct experiments according to the curriculum of the Ministry of Education and Training and the enhanced BMS Hung Yen program in the highly professional and modern Chemistry and Physics laboratories.

Extracurricular programs

Student activities are rich and diverse in type, content, and organizational form, helping students develop necessary competencies and qualities, and enabling them to adapt well to the development of society. BMS Hung Yen Secondary School places special emphasis on organizing experiential learning and career guidance activities for students. Through interdisciplinary learning projects and career guidance experiences, students develop essential competencies for learning and life such as: communication and collaboration skills, problem-solving and creative skills, career orientation skills, etc. The events often have a unique character, and students are encouraged to actively register to participate.

After-school Club and Summer Camp

After-school program

Outside of regular school hours, students can register to participate in Afterschool Clubs to develop their talents or pursue their own passions and interests, such as academic clubs (Chinese, English), skills clubs, sports clubs (football, swimming), and arts clubs (design, vocal music, musical instruments)...

Summer Camp Program

Summer Camp programs are specifically organized and designed for each age group, providing students with activities to explore themselves and the world. Summer Camp programs are held annually during the summer, both domestically and abroad.

Domestic summer camps offer students the opportunity to experience activities they don't have the chance to participate in during the regular school year.
